God Inside

Spiritual growth

As a born-again Christian you know that there is a God and He is in heaven but where else is He?

He is inside you in the form of the Holy Spirit. His throne is in your heart. The reason He gives you Himself is because He cannot deny himself (2 Tim 2:13). His whole purpose is to bring all things (of Him) back to Himself. That is why you need Him to enter heaven, because there can be no darkness in light (1 John 1:5).

So who is this God of ours? We know that He is almighty and all-knowing so why are we afraid? Are His promises not for us? Are we not His children (Psalm 27:1)?

We know that God has no enemy that can overtake Him right? So if He is in us how can we (He) be defeated? He will not cause any of us to be harmed (Luke 10:19).

His will for you will not be defeated by anyone or anything. He is God. What He speaks happens (Isaiah 55:11)!

We know He loves us but we don’t understand how much so we have fear and doubt. That is why we must understand the richness of His love (Eph 3:17-21). If we know Him truly we will never be afraid of anything because we know He is on control. So no matter where you go His love and Word stays the same. His Word is just as much true in your kitchen as it is in your living room. It is just as true at your work-place as it is in the grocery store. So let your heart be filled by His Word and you will reap the benefits of it.

Be not afraid of anything and be anxious for nothing, the Almighty God is inside you.

He did not plant Himself in you so you could fail. He is God and will make sure you succeed (Eph 1:11, Phil 1:6, 1 Thess 5:24). So just be obedient (no matter what the situation) and He will complete His will.

God is able to keep you from falling (Jude 1:24).

So know that the word of God is true and will always be so.

So consider it a joy when you suffer because God is preparing you for an even more intimate relationship with Him. Don’t take it personal, it is not you on trial but your faith.

See 1 Peter Chapter 1.

He needs to burn off anything that cannot stand up to the righteousness test. When He is done all He should see is Himself in you.

God is God and His confidence is not in us but in His Word/Will. PRAISE HIM!!!

Be blessed my brothers and sisters. Yell out a cry in your heart from a place of victory.

The only one you need to convince is yourself.

2 Timothy 2:13 (Amplified Bible)

If we are faithless [do not believe and are untrue to Him], He remains true (faithful to His Word and His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself.

1 John 1:5 (Amplified Bible)

And this is the message [the message of promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [ no, not in any way].

Psalm 27:1 (Amplified Bible)

[A Psalm of David. ] THE LORD is my Light and my Salvation–whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life–of whom shall I be afraid?

Luke 10:19 (Amplified Bible)

Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.

Isaiah 55:11 (Amplified Bible)

So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Ephesians 3:17-21 (Amplified Bible)

17May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love,

18That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it];

19[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

20Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]–

21To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).

Ephesians 1:11 (Amplified Bible)

In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will,

Philippians 1:6 (Amplified Bible)

And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.

1 Thessalonians 5:24 (Amplified Bible)

Faithful is He Who is calling you [to Himself] and utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it [fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping you].

Jude 1:24 (Amplified Bible)

Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]–

I love Psalm 27. It’s one of my favorites. Sometimes it’s difficult to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit within because there are so many worldly things that can drown him out. That’s the challenge – to focus on the Holy Spirit and not on things of this world.
